In search of a ballet instructor and administrative support staff member for non-profit dance company, Mannakin Theater & Dance. Established in 2013, the mission of MTD is to broaden the world of the performing arts by engaging new individuals and demographics in rich and meaningful experiences in the theater seats, in the learning studio and under the stage lights.

Option for immediate hire – Must start by June 15, 2022
25-40 hour/week will be composite of teaching and administrative responsibilities.

Instruction Duties
The new hire should be proficient at teaching ballet to ages 3-adult, with an emphasis on ages 2 to 10 years of age. Other disciplines of dance experience and teaching are welcome, including tap, modern, contemporary, jazz, folklorico, etc. Duties will include up to 15 hours of teaching/week.

Administrative Duties
Administrative duties will include, but not be limited to customer relationship management through platforms such as Salesforce and Jack Rabbit, grant searching and basic application editing, general office/storage organization, reception. Social media and marketing experience is a plus. Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, and other common computer software is required.

Minimum Qualifications
• 3 years of teaching experience with at least 1 year of teaching young children
• Ballet proficiency
• 1 year of administrative/office work

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Dance or Dance Education
• Non-profit administration experience
