Description:Pilobolus is hiring Performing Teaching Artists - Please ApplyCompany: Pilobolus Location: Washington Depot, CT Compensation: $150 - $200 per day depending on teaching experience and schedule Teaching Artist with arms outstretched towards two young dancers in a backbend lift.Robert Torres Photography We are seeking: -Applicants for a Teaching Artist and Performing Dancer position for the 2023-24 school year. Applicants should have at least one year of experience teaching dance, and be able to provide references of their teaching ability. Teaching artists will also be dancing in school residency performances and should have interest in learning and performing Pilobolus repertory. - strong athleticism and partnering skills Artists of color, LGBTQIA2S+ and nonbinary artists are strongly encouraged to apply. - work will be for residencies in CT public schools throughout the 2023-2024 school year. Application Process: All applications will be reviewed. Select applicants will be invited to an in-person audition in CT on August 23, 2023 Applications must be received by July 19, 2023.
