Description:
The Circus Spot (Pascoe Vale, Melbourne) is looking for an experienced circus coach who loves working with kids!
You must be confident teaching beginners aged 5 - 10 years old, across the following areas:
Tumbling (cartwheels and rolls)
Manipulation (hula, juggle or devil sticks etc)
Acro balance OR basic trapeze
All our classes have pre-design plans - i.e. you don’t need to plan classes!
You will also be teaching alongside other experienced coaches, which means you are well supported at all times.
The majority of our beginners classes run with 2 coaches and no more than 16 students.
Set up / Prep time / Pack up is paid for at the same rate as teaching.
Typically a 5 hour shift includes:
Teaching 4 x 1 hour classes
30 minutes set up / pack up
30 minutes spread out between classes for reset / talking to parents etc.
Other experience that might be favourable (but not required):
Teaching intermediate students (kids or adults) in any of the following area’s may be favourable
Tumbling
Acrobalance
Tissu
Aerial Hoop
Trapeze
Hours:
MUST BE AVAILABLE on Saturday’s between 8:30am and 2pm
Also available on AT LEAST one of the following days:
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 3:30pm - 8:30pm
Pay rate:
Casual hourly rate is $34.50 (same rate for teaching / set up / pack up / prep between classes)
