Description:
Host of Sparrows Aerial Circus in Richmond Virginia is hiring Aerial arts coaches for adult and youth programs and in variety apparatuses. Also open to providing more hours, for other studio and performance company needs based on secondary skills offered by the applicant.

Program duties are coaching in weekly classes, sessions for recital students, teaching in other locations within the city for outreach programming, and working on special performance projects.
Please also list secondary skills: any background in theater performance or directing, theater or dance education, technical theater, marketing/advertising/graphic design, studio programming, behavioral health, or social circus.
We are expanding programming after 14 years to continue to serve our mission in a bigger way!

Additional Information:
This is a contracted position for the amount of time agreed on between the applicant and the owner, company instructors get free practice/creation spaces, a free class a week, AYCO/ACE membership, CPR/First-Aid certifications, and free continuing education opportunities.
We have both a school/training facility, as well as a professional adult company of performers, which can provide additional paid performance opportunities. Audition required for performance company in March 2025, acceptance based equally on performance quality, weekend availability and desire to support our mission.
