As part of the creation and broadcast of our next show, “Who Needs the Sky” by Naomi Wallace, directed by Tommy Milliot, we are looking for a lighting manager to complete our team. Job Description As a lighting manager, you will be responsible for setting up and executing the technical aspects related to lighting management on tour. You will work in close collaboration with the lighting designer during the creation phase and with the general manager on tour, according to the lighting creation plan and the technical sheet of the show. Main responsibilities: Ensure loading and unloading of show elements. Implement lighting plans using available equipment and respecting the technical constraints of each performance venue within the allotted time frame. Manage the installation, wiring and adjustment of lighting equipment before each performance. Supervise rehearsals to ensure lighting is consistent with artistic intentions. Program and operate the lighting console during performances, following the pre-established lighting plan. Collaborate with the existing technical team (sound manager and stage/general manager) to ensure smooth and efficient coordination of the show. Carry out maintenance on lighting equipment if necessary Ensure the safety of actors, technicians and the public by respecting current safety standards. Description of the profile sought Experience as a lighting manager in the field of live entertainment, ideally on tours. Knowledge of stage lighting equipment and lighting consoles. Mastery of layout design software (Autocad) Ability to work independently, while being an active member of the technical team. Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. Good communication skills to collaborate with different team members and host locations. Ability to resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently. Knowledge of safety standards relating to stage lighting.
