The Head of Wardrobe, Wigs, Hair & Make-up will work with the Company Stage Manager, Production Manager, alongside the rest of the technical team and the cast and creatives, to facilitate all wardrobe, wigs, hair and make-up requirements of The Party Girls tour, September-October 2025. Closing date: Tuesday 24 June 2025, 10am Job Requirements Extensive experience of theatrical wardrobe, wigs, hair and make-up work Experience as a head or deputy head of department Touring experience Experience in scheduling and managing a department Excellent knowledge of theatrical wardrobe, wigs, hair and make-up Excellent sewing skills and working knowledge of theatre costume Experience with cutting and styling hair and barbering A calm and practical approach to technical troubleshooting Knowledge of current applicable health and safety legislation The ability to work well with others and to work calmly under pressure Good communication and organisational skills The ability to work under minimal supervision and to adapt work in accordance with performance requirements The ability to handle confidential information with discretion Job Responsibilities To be responsible for the Wardrobe, Wigs, Hair & Make-up department, including managing the wardrobe, wigs, hair & make-up team, ensuring they are scheduled appropriately To be responsible for: wardrobe maintenance, including the supervision of the touring wardrobe, wigs, hair & make-up team and the local Dressers in the maintenance and dressing of all costumes to the standard of the Designer and Costume Supervisor wig/postiche maintenance and application and any make-up or hairdressing requirements of the production, within the specifications of the Designer, Costume Supervisor and Wigs, Hair & Make-up Supervisor the styling, cutting and maintenance of the hair of all cast members, within the specifications of the Designer and Wigs, Hair & Make-up Supervisor and to undertake any training needed to fulfil these responsibilities the maintenance and application of any prosthetics used in the production on the show
