DESCRIPTION
The Back To The Future Tour is seeking a full time Head Carpenter to begin work mid-January. The Head Carpenter is the leader of the traveling crew and oversees both the traveling and local crews in each city during the load in/load out as well as the show trucking and truck packs. Head Carpenter will be responsible for setting and managing work calls/rehearsals and advancing venues alongside management for upcoming and potential future venues.
This person will also run their own track during the show and be responsible for documenting and updating pre-show, run of show and touring paperwork. Excellent communication, management and collaboration skills are a must. Experience with stage automation, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat are preferred. 3-5 Years of experience as a Head Carpenter of a Broadway Musical, Play, or First National Tour is preferred.
