Description:

Circus Center, a non-profit organization and the oldest and largest circus training and performing arts center on the West Coast, seeks a Part Time Regular (25 - 35 hours a week) Handstand/Hand Balancing Instructor. Position reports to the Head of School. Some evenings and weekends will be essential. Women, People of Color, and LGBTQIA+ candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Compensation:

- Hourly rate ranging from $25.50 to $48.88; DOE
- Circus Center provides a full benefits package for those working over 20 hours a week, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as paid vacation, transportation reimbursement, and paid sick time. Also, we provide employees with training benefits, including independent training opportunities, and class credits; Plus all the perks that come with working and training at a high-quality facility with other top-notch instructors in beautiful, dynamic San Francisco.

The successful candidate must have:

-Previous experience as a handstand/hand balancing instructor, and a background in circus or gymnastics/acrobatics training.
-Enthusiasm for teaching classes, and a high-energy, charismatic teaching style.
-Ability to apply and execute our developed & unique conditioning curriculum grounded in the circus arts.
