Florida Studio Theatre and Richard Hopkins, Producing Artistic Director, are still seeking Video self-submissions of strong actor-musicians for the following role in the 2022-23 Winter Cabaret Season:

Celebrating sixty years’ worth of musical magic from the one-and-only Stevie Wonder! Featuring such smash hits as “Sir Duke,” “You Are The Sunshine of My Life,” “I Just Called To Say I Love You,” and many more you know and love.

Woman 1: 20s-40s, Any ethnicity, mezzo-soprano, female. A member of the band who steps out for solo moments and sings back up. Must sing well and play the guitar very well. Ability to play any other instruments is a huge plus.
All actors must have the ability to connect genuinely with the audience as themselves and should be excellent/authentic actor-musicians with soul. Musical revues for Florida Studio Theatre develop and change as they rehearse, so actors must be flexible and treat the show like a new musical workshop. All actors must also be fully vaccinated for COVID19.
NYC Callbacks will be held in person on the morning of Friday, 9/9 and the afternoon of Monday, 9/12. Virtual callback tapes will also be accepted.

SALARY
$500-$700/wk, based on experience and size of role. Travel and shared housing (private bedroom & bathroom) provided.
