This festival celebrates the inherently collaborative spirit of circus artistry, aiming to foster connections among artists, techniques, and audiences globally. The initiative promotes new creations, professional development, and cultural exchange. Two distinct opportunities are available for artists and aspiring professionals: **1. International Artistic Showcase Opportunity** We invite solo performers, groups, troupes, collectives, and companies from Brazil and around the world to submit their work. Our curatorial team seeks to highlight the rich diversity of contemporary circus, promoting dynamic interactions between varied artistic paths and aesthetics. Selection criteria include artistic excellence, professional experience, potential for cultural exchange, and suitability for the festival's performance venues. Artists selected from outside Salvador will receive comprehensive support, including performance space, travel, accommodation, meals, and a performance fee or stipend. The festival is scheduled for December 2026. **2. Technical-Artistic Circus Training & Qualification Residency** This intensive program will select ten participants, aged 18 and above, for a collaborative creation and show development process. The residency emphasizes technical proficiency, creative exploration, and teamwork, culminating in a public presentation. The program will run from October 5 to December 15, 2026, in Salvador. Ten social scholarships, each valued at R$ 700, are available, with priority given to Black, trans, indigenous, and low-income individuals. Selection will consider social markers to ensure a diverse and inclusive participant group. No prior advanced technical mastery is required to apply.
