Labeled Pôle national Cirque, Le Plongeoir implements a unique artistic and societal project, promoting meetings between artists and residents of the territories: circus in everyday life.
Le Plongeoir puts on a season and a festival, with more than 50 shows for 150 performances throughout the year. 35 artistic teams are hosted in creative residencies each year. Le Plongeoir has two main locations: La Cité du Cirque, a place of teaching and creation, and Le Chapiteau permanent, a place of creation and dissemination. The programming also takes place in partner locations in the region and with traveling marquees.
Job Description
the operation and technical coordination of all the establishment's events.
Technical operation of events
The manager
- understands and technically implements the artistic project of the establishment.
- studies technical sheets in writing programming.
- evaluates the technical feasibility of the events, in consultation with all stakeholders concerned. In this capacity, he or she attends activity coordination meetings.
- proposes adaptations and options with regard to existing constraints.
- prepares, organizes, coordinates and participates in the technical reception of events.
- defines and implements all the human, budgetary and material resources necessary for the technical hosting of events.
- participates in the management and storage of materials (administrative, educational and scenic) of the establishment.
- ensures the technical and methodological expertise on which his hierarchy relies.
Supervision

- establishes and supervises the necessary teams of intermittent technical staff.
- makes the link with the artistic teams hosted.
Security
The manager
- participates in the security of events.
- participates in the maintenance of all equipment.
- implements the safety requirements determined by the head of the Technical and Prevention department.
Equipment park
The manager
- defines the necessary technical investments.
- ensures the monitoring and maintenance of the equipment.
- participates in the drafting of technical and regulatory documents.

Description of the profile sought
Knowledge
- In-depth knowledge of the different technical bodies of performing arts.
- Reading technical sheets.
- Knowledge of safety and prevention regulations related to stage technical and electrical equipment and gestures and postures when carrying out missions.
- Knowledge of the regulations related to the management and employment of intermittent staff.
Know-how
- Technical installation of sound, lighting, audiovisual, circus equipment and management of the risks and constraints linked to these specificities.
- Sound and light control.
- Supervision of teams during assembly, dismantling and technical receptions.
Soft skills
- Rigor, ability to adapt and communicate, ability to report, ability to work alone and in a team.
Qualifications
- Significant experience required in a similar position.
- Electrical qualifications and working at height essential.
- Accreditation of hooks, CACES nacelle and forklift required.
- B license essential.
