L'Artère, art of dance and movement is looking for a person to assume the general coordination of the organization.

About L'Artère

L'Artère is a non-profit organization working to promote the art of dance and movement on the territory of the Capitale-Nationale. Its mission is to support the artistic and professional development of artists by offering a program of internships and services at the cutting edge of current practice.

General coordination mandate

General coordination is responsible for implementing L'Artère's mission. In a collaborative and horizontal spirit, she works hand in hand with the members of the administrative team and the committees in place to ensure the sustainability of the organization through a fair use of resources and quality partnerships.

Main responsibilities

Ensure the implementation of the program established by the artistic committee
Ensure public and private financing, as well as sound financial management
Carry out participatory management of team members and committees
Ensure the health, safety and well-being of members, including an environment free from harassment and discrimination
Support the board of directors and actively participate in its meetings
Establish and maintain business and artistic partnerships
Required profile*

Management, administration and governance experience
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Autonomy, proactivity and flexibility
Ease of grant applications
Knowledge of cultural or community issues - an asset
Fluency in French - spoken and written
Good knowledge of English - spoken and written
Ease of using the Office suite, Google Workspace and Zoom
* Any relevant combination of experience and training will be considered.

Working conditions

14 hours per week - other arrangements possible depending on the context
Six (6) weeks of paid vacation
Possibility of carrying out some of the tasks by teleworking - or all according to the health measures in force
Free access to programming activities
Salary according to the salary scale, between $ 23 and $ 30 / hour
