Circus Center, a non-profit organization and the oldest and largest circus training and performing arts center on the West Coast, seeks a part-time Front Desk Administrator. Reporting to the Front Desk Manager, the Front Desk Administrator holds a junior administrative role. The Front Desk Administrator is responsible for administering the organization’s customer service functions.

Duties include:
Greet students, staff, and community members
Check in students as they arrive for programs
Opening and Closing facility as shift requires
Assist students with the management of their MindBody accounts and schedules
Perform financial transactions related to services & merchandise
Properly log & drop daily cash sales
Answer questions about our services, faculty, and facility
Respond to phone calls, emails and in-person communication
Receive mail, packages, deliveries
Maintain an organized and welcoming lobby
Perform tasks as assigned by Administrative Director and Executive Director to support Circus Center Mission
There will be an opening shift and closing shift during the business hours of:
Monday-Friday 8:30am - 9pm
Saturday 9:30-6:30pm
Sunday 9:30am - 8pm

Qualifications:
High school graduate, GED, or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience in a relevant position(s). Prior front desk reception experience is desirable.
Demonstrated work experience in an administrative position showing a high level of organizational skills, exceptional dependability, and a meticulous attention to detail.
Solid understanding of customer service practices and principles.
Good interpersonal, analytical, mathematical, writing, and oral communication skills.
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new programs quickly and accurately.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Experience with MindBody is a plus!

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to various components of an office environment such as fluorescent lighting, pollen, dust, recycled air, cooling fans, VDTs, semi-enclosed areas, seasonal warmer/cooler temperatures and office noise.
