You will have experience visioning and developing engagement projects, working with artists and communities and have the ability to build relationships with partners, practitioners, funders and diverse communities. This role will make a significant contribution to Stratford Circus’s ability to achieve its mission and in particular its ambitions to reach and engage more deeply a wider range of people across the London Borough of Newham and East London. Stratford Circus have been providing creative learning projects to communities in Newham and East London for nearly a decade. Developing creative pathways and training, alongside access to progressional artists to young people. Working extensively with schools and colleges, including a role within the East London Cultual Education Alliance. Strategic projects working with pre-school children, older adults, choirs and adults with learning disabilities. As we transition from a venue based model we are looking to re-evalute our Creative Engagament programme and re-position it into one that is based within the community, building on the successes of the past eight years. The role will be key in developing a new Creative Engagament Strategy for the organisation. The role will involve working closely with the interim CEO, wider SAT team, visioning consultants and community partners and stakeholders. This fixed term freelance contract will be to support and develop existing programmes as well as taking part in a visioning process, alongside the wider Stratford Circus team, exploring new opportunities and partnerships for the organisation that will create the basis of a new Business Plan.
