A significant theatrical production, currently captivating audiences in Mexico City, is actively seeking highly skilled flamenco and Spanish dance artists. This acclaimed show is a vibrant fusion of flamenco, pop, and rock, featuring a large ensemble of live performers and musicians. Candidates must be over 18 years old and prepared for a four-month commitment in Mexico. The narrative explores the historical encounter between Spanish and Mesoamerican cultures through the lens of Malintzin and Hernán Cortés, emphasizing the rich cultural blending (mestizaje) between Mexico and Spain. The Spanish dance choreography is directed by Jesús Carmona, with Sergio Orduña overseeing urban dance. This long-running production has already celebrated over 400 performances.
