Description:
Circus World Museum (CWM) is located at the National Landmark Site of the original Ringling Bros. Circus winter quarters on Water Street. These buildings are the largest and oldest group of circus structures in the United States, belonging to the largest circus enterprise the world has ever known. This position is responsible for supporting the Facilities Management activities for CWM historic buildings and grounds by monitoring and facilitating contractor activities, ensuring equipment, and building systems are operational, addressing maintenance needs, inventory control, and leading ground maintenance functions. This position also supports the Wisconsin Historical Society Facilities Development section by overseeing contractor and subcontractor activities related to Capital projects at CWM.
This position organizes and coordinates the conservation and restoration of large-scale historic artifacts including the management of the CWM wagon collection. This position is responsible for the sourcing and securing of original materials and equipment for the fabrication and repair of each artifact.
