We are LEGOLAND California Resort - the place where FUN is built and memories are made. Across our Resort we have two fantastic LEGO themed Hotels, a Water Park, a SEA LIFE Aquarium, more than 60 rides and attractions, 20 food and beverage locations, and 14 retail stores – the opportunities here are endless!
Scope of Job:
Leads daily operations of the Resort Entertainment, Shows, Hotel Entertainment and Meet & Greets. Acts as a role model performer for our MC’s.
Key Objectives:
Monitors day to day park operations of the performers, and costume character staff, providing performance notes to performers and costume characters as needed.
Complete department and park duty shifts as needed, evenings and weekends required.
Lead rehearsals and training for performers.
Lead the Costume Character team and OR the Performer Team ensuring all SOP’s are followed and updated.
Work with our Costume & Repairs department to ensure all LEGO Costume Characters are maintained and repairs are taken care of quickly.
Leads by example to ensure MCs meet or exceed the Guest Obsession standards. Performs necessary follow-up and performance management for MC’s.
Ensures that Department Standards (safety, service, cleanliness, efficiency, wardrobe, etc.) are maintained through MC monitoring, auditing, training and recertification.
Ensures proper cleanliness and staffing levels, overseeing completion of opening safety checklists, and completing prompt review and sign-off of opening safety checklists.

Background and Experience:
A minimum of one (2) years with show operations experience.
A minimum of one year in Supervisory role/ leading employees.
Previous performer, theme park or theatre experience.
Self-motivated and demonstrated initiative.
Requires a commitment to excellence in customer service.
Strong guest service, and interpersonal skills are required.
Computer skills (Word, Excel, e-mail, Power Point) are required.
Education:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent experience. Basic computer skills with a general understanding of MS Office.
SITE MANAGERS
Site Managers are responsible for all aspects of Health, Safety & Security within their location, in line with the Group Policy (HS001). In particular, as the ‘Responsible Person’ (see the HS001 for definition) they must ensure that risk assessments have been carried out, that safe working procedures are in place for all work activities and that all employees under their management are aware of the Group Health, Safety and Security Policy and their obligations under it. They must ensure that safe working practices are monitored, and that risk assessments and procedures are reviewed regularly. Where incidents do occur, they must ensure that they are investigated appropriately and that where necessary, corrective action is taken to ensure that such incidents are not repeated
ALL OTHER MANAGERS/SUPERVISORS

EMPLOYEES
Employees are responsible for the safety of themselves, their colleagues and guests (where appropriate), in line with the Group Policy (HS001) and the law. In particular, they must ensure that they follow safe working procedures for all work activities that they undertake, and they must not use any tools or equipment for which they have not been trained. Where incidents do occur, they must ensure that they are reported to their line manager and must cooperate with any investigation as appropriate.
