Description:Scope of Job:The Entertainment Lead supports one or more of Peppa Pig Theme Park’s shows, events, or costumed character products. Their work involves cast/crew supervision, show/event quality assurance, safety, and venue operations. They are also instrumental in running and maintaining rehearsal and operational processes, training, schedules, production books, and cast/crew start-up meetings. Key Objectives: Basic lighting, audio, SFX, scenic design, costuming, and staging knowledge. Collaborates with Entertainment Theming, Operations, Production, and Theatrical Services teams to achieve project goals and objectives, including the rehearsal, installation, and strike plans. Knowledge of all positions necessary for show operation. Foster a fun, safe, positive, and professional work environment & provide excellent service for guests with children as the primary focus. Main Responsibilities: Maintains the daily artistic and operational integrity of the assigned shows, events, or costumed character products. Work with the technical and/or operations teams to gather all auditions and rehearsals support needs before operation. Collaborates with department leadership in the execution and supervision of Entertainment processes to achieve park and department health and safety targets. Maintain and update Entertainment SOP’s & KPI tracking targets. Assist in maintaining assigned cast and crew schedules and timecards using company timekeeping programs. With help from the Entertainment Manager and Supervisor, execute the development, performance, and evaluation of cast or crew members within the assigned team and administer developmental discussions for successful daily operation. Works with creative project timelines and schedules to ensure park and departmental goals and objectives are obtained. Cover for other Stage Managers/Technicians on their days off, vacation, absences, etc. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience Background and Experience: 1+ years of professional supervisory stage management experience preferred. 2+ years of professional entertainment or theme park experience preferred. Knowledge of costumed-character operational needs or general children’s live entertainment elements is also preferred. Acting, musical, or vocal background, including ability to read sheet music, preferred but not required. Detail-oriented, multi-tasking, highly motivated, and proactive leader capable of meeting strict deadlines. Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings & weekends, to support park operations. Attendance is a mandatory function of this job. Education Associate or BA in Theatre Management, Theatre Arts, Event Management, or equivalent professional experience. Experience in theatrical, cruise ship, or theme park live entertainment show production. Physical Demands Ability to sit for sustained periods, attend on-site and off-site meetings, perform paperwork, travel, and drive. Intermittent and prolonged standing and walking to move about the park site and interact with employees. Finger dexterity sufficient to complete paperwork activities and to use a computer. Visual acuity sufficient to read written materials, complete paperwork activities, and drive. Hearing sufficient to communicate with individuals in person and by telephone. Must be able to work in varying temperatures and climates inside and outside, as well as in direct and indirect sunlight. Work Environment Various inside and outside locations with varying temperatures and floor surfaces. Exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. Pay Range USD $17.50/Hr.
