Status: Seasonal (Fixed Term)
May be scheduled up to 40 hours per week.
What you get to do:
Monitor assigned shows, parades, and special events to ensure design intents are maintained; follow-up on issues that need to be resolved in order to return the production to its intended design
Serve as Parade One and Parade Two position for daily parade operation
Supervise Theatrical crews, maintain project lists, and coordinate production management processes
Create and implement SOP’s for assigned show area
Create and update production books (aka “show bibles”) for various entertainment offerings
Create and update all tracking and cue sheets during rehearsal process
Assist with auditions and new-hire training as needed
Ensure training documentation is complete and on file for all of show crew
Create and maintain documentation to support design implementations and intentions
Keep documentation current as design changes are made
Ensure that the assigned production is functional, maintainable, and safe
Maintain all assigned areas to meet park standards while staying within budgetary protocol
Work alongside costuming team to ensure quality and standards of costumes
Participate in new show production
Lead re-install of existing shows from season to season
Perform other duties as assigned
What it takes to succeed:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous event or stage management experience
At least 18 years old
Able to complete provided CPR training/certification
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
Comprehensive understanding of large-scale show and event production
Understand the operation of a variety of theatrical stage equipment (follow spots, automated lighting, scrollers, fog machines, etc.)
Lift, push and pull 20 pounds
Comfortable working in theater and outdoor environments (dark/nighttime conditions, in/around water, in varying weather conditions)
Available to work varying shifts/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays
What else is important:
Bachelor’s degree in Entertainment, Theater or Management preferred
2 years guest service experience preferred
Choreography experience preferred
Possession of a valid state driver’s license preferred
Compensation:
$20.00 per hour
