Main responsibilities / activities:
You join the network of Parisian conservatories which includes 17 municipal conservatories of the district (CMA) as well as the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional (CRR) of Paris and which provide specialized artistic education in dance, music and theater, leading to independent amateur or pre-professional practice.
You join the management team of the CMA 13, and in this capacity you may be required to chair juries. You participate in the implementation of specialized artistic education and artistic and cultural education within the framework of the texts of the Ministry in charge of culture and the regulatory texts of the City of Paris.
In compliance with the rights and duties of public officials and the ethics governing the educational relationship in artistic education in the City of Paris, you drive and support the formalization and implementation of the CMA's educational project. You lead educational and artistic projects that contribute to the cultural action of the institution and contribute to the collective and partnership dynamics that it can support. In conjunction with the teaching team, you formalize and organize the content of the courses and curricula, as well as the assessment and orientation processes, particularly during examinations relating to the study path (curriculum).
You lead the educational reflection and consultation of the institution, both within and outside the walls, as part of the partnership actions deployed by the conservatory in its territory.
You participate in the various works carried out under the impetus of the Service of Artistic Education and Amateur Practices (SEAPA) at the network level: management team meetings, specific meetings, working groups, etc. You take part in the training and educational consultation activities carried out by the DAC, particularly as part of the pre-back-to-school period.
The 13th arrondissement conservatory provides instruction to nearly 1,840 students, including approximately 400 dancers and 130 theater students. The teaching staff includes 175 teachers, including 9 dance teachers and 11 dance accompanists. 50 teach EAC (educational and cultural activities) for the TAP (Training and Learning Program) and the Music (and Dance) Awareness Course. The administrative staff consists of 12 people. The management team includes the director, the general secretary, and the assistant director. The three educational managers (Performing Arts, Culture and Solidarity, Music) belong to the school's management team. In this capacity, the Performing Arts manager participates in defining the school's project, in consultation and orientation meetings, in educational meetings in their areas of expertise, and ensures the link with the educational teams of the center for which he or she is the referent. In addition, in consultation with the school administrators and teachers. He supports the monitoring of student progress.

Main responsibilities / activities:
The scope of the missions described in this sheet is subject to change depending on the needs of the establishment and current discussions.
1. You will advise the conservatory's management on educational and artistic issues related to the performing arts, in particular dance and theater and on cross-disciplinary developments that could develop (musical comedy, voice sector, etc.) within the conservatory and in the region. In this capacity, you will participate in the educational council, thematic working groups, educational meetings concerning the teaching of these disciplines as well as the management team's consultation bodies;
2. In conjunction with the management, you will drive and support the formalization and implementation of a pedagogical project agreed with the department's teachers. With the management team, you will be a driving force in proposing cross-disciplinary projects with other specialties;
3. You will lead and organize pedagogical and artistic reflection within the performing arts department and in conjunction with other departments;
4. You will support the research and implementation of projects related to the performing arts;
5. You may be required, upon delegation from the management, to chair juries;
6. You will propose, in conjunction with the performing arts department staff, the schedule of courses and artistic and educational activities and you will ensure their follow-up;
7. You will ensure the educational monitoring of students and the link with families, in consultation with the school administrators and the teaching team;
8. You will drive and support the institution's artistic and educational projects in the performing arts within the conservatory but also in the region.
In addition to this mission with the director, the educational manager provides the conservatory with his skills by contributing to its artistic, educational and cultural life. He maintains an artistic and cultural watch and enriches his skills.

The hours devoted to the mission of educational manager are carried out within the framework of the working hours applicable to administrative staff and in the form of course release.
The rhythm of activity of the conservatories means that all staff benefit from leave during school holidays and in particular 6 consecutive weeks in July and August.
Hourly quota:
8 hours of face-to-face dance teaching
8 hours of performing arts teaching manager
Teacher leave scheme.
