For more than 40 years, the Circus School of Brussels has been developing pedagogy in Circus Arts at international, national and local level. By providing amateurs with year-round lessons, internships, initiations but above all by training future pedagogues, the Circus Arts are consecrated as a tool for development for children (from 2 years old) and for adults. adults (teens / adults). Thus, through the pedagogy promoted, fulfillment, learning, creativity, pleasure, respect and commitment are valued daily.
FUNCTION DESCRIPTION
Iel, as a pedagogical coordinator, ensures the coherence and the pedagogical vision of the various projects of the Brussels Circus School (ECBru). He holds a management position in tandem with the Global Coordination, and is part of the Management Committee in a quartet with the Internal and External Coordinations.
FUNCTION PROFILE
They manage the various educational projects in their operation, through educational content, programming, administration, finance and communication.
They supervise all the teaching staff (trainers, speakers and assistants = 40 people) with the support of the sector coordinators (courses, internships, training, activities, Handicirque, neighborhood circus) .
They coordinate Pedagogical Training: administrative and pedagogical management of professional training in Circus Arts.
Iel represents the Pedagogical Council (a body emanating from the GA) within the shared management committee of which Iel is a member.
They ensure the development of the educational sector at Belgian and European level: representation in the boards of partners, networks, projects...
REQUIRED SKILLS
Higher/university diploma in pedagogy or proof of experience in a similar function.
Have managerial/team management skills.
Knowledge of the youth sector, the university educational environment and continuing education.
Knowledge of the artistic, cultural and educational landscape of Circus Arts is an asset.
Demonstrate listening and analysis, proactivity, versatility and resilience. • Be resistant to stress and flexible in terms of time availability.
Have a perfect command of French, sufficient knowledge of English. Dutch is a plus.
CONTRACTUAL CONDITIONS
Full time (38h/week).
One-year fixed-term contract with possibility of evolution to a permanent contract.
Baremic scale 6 / Joint Commission 329.02.
