NOW CASTING FOR 2024
Seeking artists for our Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 ensemble production of Dusty’s All Star Circus touring throughout the eastern United States.
Our mission is to produce and present high-quality Circus Arts entertainment, accessible to all audiences. We are excited to return in this fall with an ALL NEW ensemble production, performing in our intimate one ring setting.
SEEKING:
Dynamic act(s): appropriate for all ages and cultural sensibilities.
Specifically looking for high energy and youthful acrobatic acts, jugglers, physical comedians, hosts, balance acts, low flying aerial acts and more!
Preference is given to artists with the ability to relate to the general public and the diverse audiences we serve. All artists are encouraged to submit more than one act.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A willingness to lift, carry, haul, & set-up tear-down (ie. participate in the grunt of the show beyond just performing their act)
A show ready 3-6 minute act(s)
Clean and professional demeanor with a ‘can do’ attitude
The ability to perform in a 30′ ring with a 16′ height
The ability to perform on a free-standing aerial rigging (aerial acts)
The ability and experience of working and creating alongside others
The ability to perform, tour with and collaborate with an ensemble
USA citizenship, working visa or green card (company cannot provide visas)
*Having one’s own truck and trailer an asset but not required, limited company owned shared accommodation is available
COMMITMENT:
Rehearsals begin in early September 2023 and with performances through September & October.
and Mid February 2024 with performances in February through the end of May.
The show moves 3-4 times per week on average with 1 day off most weeks.
COMPENSATION:
Company members receive a competitive weekly salary based upon experience and offerings.
