Description of the organization
For the past three years, Mother De La Beuchaire and her family have produced over 300 costumes. Antoine Linsale, aka De La Saboté, has written a short form, La e Clown e, and accompanies De La's creatures in exploring the Stage. Maison De La brings circus identity and the Art of Couture to a unique Queer, Club Kids, or Blitz aesthetic.
De La Beuchaire and De La Saboté strive to create a multidisciplinary vocabulary, developing and using Textiles and the Parade as performance tools.
Maison De La's repertoire is composed of both short forms intended for spaces that allow the installation of a tripod or the attachment of apparatus. They can be performed both indoors and outdoors in dedicated or non-dedicated spaces.
The multiplicity of venues and presentation formats is part of the Maison's DNA.
Maison De La is made up of many people: temporary artists, technicians, administrators, and broadcast/communications managers. The team is caring, helpful, and attentive. We are looking for serious, pleasant, and independent individuals who can work with high standards and mutual trust.
Description of the ad
We are looking for a Drag artist to join the Bestiaire/Vestiaire team. You will be a performer in the upcoming creation of
Maison De La written and directed by Antoine Linsale alongside Anne Quentin in Dramaturgy. Dynamic,
organized, proactive and able to work in a team.

ACROBATICALLY HAUTE COUTURE
To participate in the creation of the Cabaret Bestiaire/Vestiaire led by Antoine Linsale with Maison De La, we are looking for a drag performer with a talent for movement. This creative cabaret is presented in a cabaret scenography with Drags, Circus Artists, Music and acts, to highlight our identities and ambivalences.
Bestiaire/Vestiaire is a Creative Cabaret including a meal and starting with Clothing as the first choice of
social representation. This is a meeting, discussion, and meal space for 200 people for approximately 3 hours. The stage set is a 1m raised ring, 1.20m wide. It is imperative to be concerned and/or allied with queer art and its prevailing values to participate in this project.
Bestiaire/Vestiaire is supported by several artistic and cultural institutions. La Maison De La is the association behind this project. If you are interested, a meeting day will take place on August 30 in Bordeaux.
The contract during the creation is a CDDU. Rehearsals are paid with a fee of €110 gross/day/artist, and performances with a fee of €195 gross/show/artist.

Description of the profile sought
Be attracted to the work of Antoine Linsale, and the young association Maison De La, by the Arts of Cabaret and Circus.
Very good technical level in his discipline and strong desire to be close to the public.
Be comfortable with improvisation and have self-mockery.
Have a taste for bodily experimentation, research and like to work outside of his usual paths (letting go).
Have a musical ear and a sense of rhythm (interest in musicality).
Feel in harmony with the aesthetics of contemporary circus and creative cabaret.
Enjoy the research of body states. Having a strong motivation for
movement and a dance background is a plus.
Have team spirit and be attentive to others.
Enjoy working.
Communicate easily, with kindness, inclusion.
Be comfortable with the head down, the body turning, small heights.
The Makeup is identifiable and sought after.
Additional performance discipline or stagecraft welcome.
