Description:
CNAC works on the development of research projects and experimental laboratories in circus arts, particularly in collaboration with universities and colleges in the arts.
To fulfill this mission, the CNAC (National Circus Arts Centre) is implementing a program to support research in the circus arts, linked to the overarching themes of its new institutional project:
- circus writing
- circus pedagogy
- arts and culture mediation and education
- the health of circus artists
- the professional integration of young circus artists.
The CNAC encourages theoretical research and research-creation projects conducted by artists and/or researchers.
Submitted projects can be led by circus artists, researchers, or doctoral candidates, regardless of their nationality. Applications can be submitted by individuals or groups (artist/researcher duo, research collective).
