Description:

Leadership presence in organizational meetings and meetings with current and prospective partners
Oversee systems for tracking student attendance, skill advancement, and other meaningful or required program metrics
Direct the creation of program narratives, activity tracking data, and other information required for accurate grant reporting
Direct the creation of all communication with program stakeholders, including but not limited to camp parents, satellite program parents, partner organizations, program officers, and community partners
Participate in the annual budgeting process and oversee expenditures for camp and satellite programs
Receive, assess, and respond to requests for interactive circus activities at community events, and manage Circus Center’s participation in such events
Collaborate with the Artistic Director/Head of School and Executive Director to set the overall direction and vision for Circus Center
Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director

Requirements

Able to teach and train others to teach a wide variety of circus arts
Able to work on your feet for 6+ hours at a time.
Strong leadership and team management skills
Able to develop and implement plans for program growth and sustainability
Able to effectively communicate the organization's mission and program impact
Strong problem solving skills and adaptability
Experience in assessing community needs and tailoring programs to address them
Proficiency in relevant software and tools for program management and reporting

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree highly desirable, advanced degree preferred
Experience working with K-12th grade children and young adults (ages 18-24)
Demonstrated leadership experience
Skill instructing one or more gymnastic/circus arts
A flexible, trustworthy, creative, and charismatic leader
Proficiency in classroom management & conflict resolution
