As Deputy Head of Automation, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering seamless automation across complex set changes, flying systems, and high-tech scenic elements on a large scale theatre production.
Start date: Mid September 2025
Job Requirements
Essential Criteria
Proven and extensive experience in taking a leading role in the automation department of a large and technically complex show
Relevant supervisory experience
Calm under pressure with excellent problem-solving skills.
Team leadership experience and strong interpersonal communication skills.
A commitment to best health and safety practises.
Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Head of Automation in overseeing the safe running, operation and maintenance of automated and mechanical elements of a technically complicated production.
Deputise for the Head of Automation.
To operate and maintain multiple automation plots.
