Description:Totem Pole Playhouse is looking to immediately hire a Deck Stagehand for our upcoming production of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. This is a fast-paced, physical, entry-level position that plays a vital role in bringing this high-energy show to life.What You Will Be Doing: Manual operation of a turntable (think: lifting 30 lbs ~30 times in a 2.5-hour window). Helping shift, set, and strike scenery during and between scenes. Being an integral backstage team member across 20 performances. What to Expect: Tech week (Aug 5-11) is around 52 hours. Following two weeks are closer to 35 hours/week. $500/week with overtime pay after 40 hours. Housing is provided (private single room in state park housing).
