Under the direction of Joan Clevillé since 2019, Scottish Dance Theatre is invested in expanding the notion of repertory dance company. Firmly rooted in its local communities in the city of Dundee, the company is outward looking and creates a wide range of work for a variety of contexts.
We particularly welcome applications from those who are currently under-represented in the UK dance sector, including dancers of the global majority, D/deaf, disabled and neurodivergent dancers, LGBTQIA+ dancers and those facing intersectional barriers in dance.
Previous experience working with a repertory dance company is not required, and complementary skills such as facilitation, teaching, work in communities or discursive practice are also valued and desirable.
Please note that this is not an open audition and that participation is by invitation only. Candidates are only able to apply to one audition location: DUNDEE (24-25 May) or LONDON (31 May-1 June). Additional support to cover access needs and travel expenses for Scotland-based dancers to attend the audition in Dundee will be available.

Audition in Dundee: Saturday 24th May 2025 with a recall on Sunday 25th
Audition in London: Saturday 31st May 2025 with a recall on Sunday 1st June
