A prominent regional cultural institution is actively seeking talented dancers to join the inaugural Ballet Apertura for the highly anticipated Chaco Vibra 2026 Festival. This initiative, a cornerstone of the Trama Creativa Program, is dedicated to empowering local artistic talent and fostering collaborative community engagement. Prospective applicants must be at least 18 years of age, possess an Argentine DNI, demonstrate a minimum of five years of residency within the Chaco region, and have a verifiable background in dance. A strong foundation in Argentine folkloric dance styles is a mandatory requirement, while additional training in classical and contemporary dance forms will be considered a significant advantage. The audition process is scheduled for October 1st at 5 PM, to be held at the Ballet Contemporáneo del Chaco in Resistencia. Candidates will be assessed on their technical proficiency through various exercises, their ability to execute choreographic sequences, and their interpretive skills, memory, stage presence, and professional demeanor. Selection will also factor in sequential comprehension and a firm commitment to the entire rehearsal schedule. Rehearsals are set to commence on October 14th, running Monday through Friday from 1 PM to 4 PM. These sessions will primarily take place at the Ballet Contemporáneo del Chaco or the Usina Cultural, with potential weekend rehearsals as needed. The culminating performance will be featured at the Chaco Vibra 2026 Festival, taking place from November 13th to 15th at Parque Intercultural 2 de Febrero. Selected dancers will receive professional artistic fees for their dedicated involvement in both the rehearsal period and the final performances.
