Description:DESCRIPTIONChorus Productions is a New York-based immersive entertainment company developing and producing interdisciplinary experiences. With a focus on unique voices and heightened storytelling, Chorus builds rich worlds with an artist-forward approach. Staff Creators/Producers: Brittany Blum & Tessa Whitehead Director: Ellie Heyman About the Show Chorus is currently casting nightclub acts and core performers for Eschaton, a virtual, multi-level nightclub inside a rich, darkly comic, sexy, surreal universe, fully performed and viewed in zoom. Club-goers slink from room to room taking in world-class performers and uncovering secrets at every turn. Praised as “singularity outrageous” by the New York Times, Eschaton has become known for discovering incredible talent. Club Performers We are seeking performers and content-creators to fill the club with a twenty to fifty-five minute long act that is specifically developed to live within the strange world of Eschaton. Any mesmerizing or unique art form is desired - our previous crowd faves have included DJs, masked rats, dancers, drag queens, magicians, cabaret singers, circus performers, and more. We’re especially interested in people with intense dedication to backstory and curiosity for fictional worlds. We welcome the weird, the mysterious, the hilarious, and the earnest. Each performer performs from their own spaces or homes via Zoom, so having a unique or artistic at-home setup is an added plus though we help elevate performers’ production values as needed. See Eschaton in action: https://youtu.be/UGccHlVgMKM Core Cast We are looking for strong actors/improvisers with a desire to be a part of a really awesome community and who also possess the skills of our club performers.
