How To Make The Team We’re searching for dynamic, high-energy, and talented performers to join the New York Islanders’ official Dance Team! As a member of our Dance Team, you’ll be the heartbeat of fan energy at Islanders weekend home games, community events, watch parties, and special appearances. Whether you’re delivering athletic, impactful, fast-paced choreography, hyping up the crowd with unmatched positivity, or creating an unforgettable game night experience, you’ll be part of a team that lives to entertain. Come represent a legendary sports organization and help elevate the atmosphere for one of the NHL’s most passionate fanbases. All applicants must be at least 18 years old and within driving distance of the New York Metro. All positions are part time, but those selected must be able to attend all Isles Force practices and the majority Islanders home weekend games during the 2025-2026 season. Who is our Dance Team? Introducing the official dance team for Isles Nation! They're dedicated to enhancing the fan experience by delivering top-tier performances. We're seeking diverse experienced entertainers who exude confidence, high energy, and athleticism to serve as the ultimate ambassadors for the New York Islanders. We want the most talented performers, dancers, breakers, tumblers, cheerleaders and high-spirited motivators to join our reimagined team. Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid ID Must reside or be willing to commute to the Nassau County, Long Island area and have a reliable means of transportation Must be extremely outgoing, willing to interact with Islanders Fans of all ages at every game and community appearance, and comfortable in front of large crowds Must have a flexible schedule to attend games (weekends- including playoffs), all rehearsals, and holidays as required Things to Know If selected for the team, a one-year contract and commitment are required, along with agreement to abide by rules and regulations in the employee handbook. The role is a part-time seasonal position and team members are paid for all work. This includes, rehearsals, game days, appearances, photoshoots, meetings, etc. Isles Force exists to welcome and energize fans through dynamic movement that embodies power, unity, and unstoppable momentum. Keep backgrounds uncluttered so we can focus on you. When filming tumbling, stick to surfaces like grass, basketball courts, or dance floors. Avoid spring floors if you're tumbling. Video Technical Requirements Please only submit one video file, not multiple. Video must be continuous and NOT EDITED TOGETHER. Video must be new, created only for this audition, and not previously recorded. Title the video with first and last name – 2025-2026 You may be asked to demonstrate skills at in-person audition.
