Job Description
We are looking for a dance teacher to lead a workshop combining dance and theater for children aged between 8 and 11.
Responsibilities:
▪ Allow children to express themselves artistically by combining the disciplines of dance and theater
▪ Discover the basic movements of contemporary and/or Hip-Hop dance, learn to master simple movements and step sequences
▪ Learn to compose with these bases, according to their abilities, by encouraging each child to find their own expression and their own style
▪ Discover the technical bases of theater from simple exercises to reproduce, as well as improvisations that are both fun and educational
▪ Allow children to feel comfortable in their bodies, to find their center and to become aware of a stage space for representation
▪ Allow children to express their emotions through the palette of the body and words
▪ Build scenes with the children mixing bodily expression with the text
▪ Channel energies in order to achieve a fair interpretation at the level of the body and the text, develop concentration.
