Description:Stage Left Children+rsquo;s Theatre is a 501(c)(3) non-profit located in Rockland County, NY, providing multi-disciplinary education in theater for students from K-12th grades. The classes offered include vocal, acting, and dance technique that culminate in a progress presentation at the end of the semester, and musical theater workshops for grades K-2, and 3rd-5th, where students audition, rehearse, and perform a musical production.As a dance class instructor your responsibilities would include: Developing and implementing engaging curriculum for dance classes catering to students from grades 3rd- 5th, and 6th to 12th. Teaching performance skills, style, and dance technique. Qualifications: Previous experience working with children and/or teaching theater classes is required. Strong background in theater arts, including experience in acting, singing, and dancing. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and inspire students of all ages. Creative and innovative approach to curriculum development and lesson planning. Passion for theater education and a commitment to fostering the artistic growth and development of young performers. As a class instructor you would be working in our studio located in Tappan NY, and in the general Rockland County area. Having a reliable vehicle is a must*
