MSFDN, a forward-thinking non-profit organisation, is dedicated to empowering disadvantaged young people to break into the creative industries.

We are seeking experienced professionals from the Dance Industry to provide insight and expertise to our cohort of aspiring creatives. In this role, you will provide invaluable guidance, industry insights, and practical knowledge to help our youth members refine their skills within this sector and potentially progress into a fulfilling career. Your mentorship will be pivotal in shaping the next generation of talent, offering them the support they need to navigate the complexities of the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Share your expertise in Dance, offering valuable trends, best practices, and career guidance to mentees looking to enter or advance in this field
Conduct tailored mentorship sessions focusing on individual goals, professional development, and the process of mapping a pathway towards their aspirations
Assist mentees with practical aspects such as portfolio reviews, audition or interview preparation, project critiques, or freelancing advice specific to the industry
Provide feedback, encouragement, and motivation, helping mentees to build confidence in their skills and ability to navigate various challenges.
Work with the MSFDN team to align your mentoring with broader organisational goals, contributing ideas to support us in continuously improving our activities to ensure alignment with industry standards
Job Type: Freelance

Pay: £18,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
