Full-Time Position

As Creative Director, reporting to the Senior Director, Brand and Public Relations, you will be responsible for the creative vision and direction of Cirque du Soleil's brand identity. This role requires a visionary thinker capable of developing innovative concepts and campaigns that align with the company's vision and strategic objectives. The Creative Director will oversee the creative and production team, ensuring that all projects meet high standards of excellence and creativity. This position requires in-depth knowledge of branding, marketing and graphic production, as well as exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Main Responsibilities:
Develop creative campaigns: Lead the development of creative campaigns and concepts that effectively communicate the message and resonate with the target audience.
Strategic alignment: Ensure that all creative initiatives align with the company's vision and strategic objectives, ensuring consistency across all branding and marketing efforts.
Team leadership: Coach and guide the creative and production team, inspiring them to push creative boundaries and deliver exceptional work.
Project management: Oversee the execution of creative projects, from conception to completion, ensuring that all deadlines are met and that delivered products are of the highest quality.
Brand Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain the company's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
Graphic Production: Utilize expertise in graphic design and production to create visually appealing assets for various marketing channels, including print, digital and multimedia.
Creative Direction: Provide clear direction and feedback to designers, copywriters and other members of the creative team to ensure that all work meets company standards and objectives.
Market research: Keep abreast of industry trends and consumer preferences, and use this information to develop creative strategies and concepts.
Budget management: Effectively manage the creative and production budget, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and that projects are completed within budget.
Collaboration with stakeholders: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including marketing and management teams, to understand their needs and objectives and translate them into creative solutions.
You possess the following professional and technical skills:
- University degree in graphic design, fine arts or related field.
- At least 10 years' experience in this position or related functions. Experience in the entertainment industry is a must.
- A solid portfolio of campaigns and creative projects in various media.
- Proficiency in graphic design software and tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership experience and ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Fluency in English and French, with excellent writing and verbal skills.
