CREATIVE COORDINATOR POSITION:
Mary Giuliani Catering & Events is a full-service Catering & Event Production company specializing in all event needs including, but not limited to: venue scouting, creating custom food and beverage menus, production design and decor! MGCE is a creative boutique and has a customized approach to high-end entertaining. We produce events for 10 – 5,000+ guests; cocktail parties, corporate meetings, social gatherings, retail events, press previews, product launches and experiential activations. We carefully intertwine the best of New York’s fashion, art and entertainment communities with a unique approach that creates memorable experiences.
MGCE is looking to hire a Creative Coordinator who is creative, energetic and a motivated individual to assist the Management and the Sale Team/Event Producers with daily event tasks in and outside the office. A minimum of 40 hours a week is required, compensation commiserate based on experience.
Creative Coordinator responsibilities:
· Create Visual Decks for Event Marketing and Client Specific events and needs
· Manage Social Media – Instagram and FB accounts
· Produce, Maintain and Organize Marketing Materials and Photos
· Assist the Sales Team with organizing pre and post event needs
· Source décor and/or other event supplies through ecommerce and local NYC vendors
· Attend events, tastings and site visits with the Event Producers
· Maintain a flexible schedule, i.e. early morning and late-night events – Manage schedule efficiently
· Be willing to work from home and in-office when production team needs support
· Track hours and report to HR weekly
· Attend biweekly team Zoom meetings and be available to team throughout the week from 10AM – 6PM as needed
· Contribute to creative brainstorming i.e. Food, Beverage, Design and Entertainers
· Support the Sales Team with client reach-out
· Reach out to vendors, i.e. Party Rentals, Venues, Florists, AV and Entertainment Companies
· Negotiate pricing with vendors
· Multitask while working on several events/projects at once
· Possess a solution oriented outlook
· Transmit positivity throughout the office and at events while being a team player
· Establish relationships with vendors, venue managers and potential clients within the field
· Willingness to be trained in our operations and procedures with opportunity to grow within our company.
