Description:SummaryThis position plans, supervises and coordinates costume production for the Department of Theatre Arts and Dance. Provides responsible, professional expertise involving management and coordination of costume production and facilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversees the completion of made-to-order and pulled costumes for production season within production schedule deadlines. Supervises and trains student employees with work study and practicum students in the Costume Studio. Manages assigned costume budget, costume studio supplies and equipment. Supervises costume storage, inventory, costume cleaning, loans and rentals. Oversees student costume designers ensuring deadlines are met and protocol is followed. Attends Costume Parade and fittings, dress rehearsals as needed. Attend departmental, staff, committee and production meetings. Performs other duties assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Three (3) years of experience in costume design, construction and maintenance, including some teaching experience.
