DESCRIPTION

Young Actors Theatre is seeking a Costume Designer for Annie, Chicago & Newsies, performing at Young Actors Theatre, 609 Glenview Drive, Tallahassee, FL 32303. The Costume Designer is responsible for the overall design and individual looks for each character in the production(s). The Costume Designer will be expected to design in consultation with the Director and Artistic Director, and collaborate with Hair and Makeup design, as well as Wardrobe and Lighting Design to facilitate the overall look for the show. The Costume Designer may also request staff help, community volunteers, an assistant for stitching, shopping, or other details if and as needed; this can be discussed as part of the job application. Ideal candidates will be someone extremely creative, and thrifty who can make a modest budget stretch. Housing is open for discussion for out of town artist.
