A dynamic Rotterdam-based dance company, celebrated for its intuitive, layered, and physically poetic creations under the artistic direction of Manouk Schrauwen, is seeking passionate contemporary dancers for an exciting new production set to premiere in June 2027. We are committed to fostering a safe, open, and collaborative environment built on equality within our close-knit core team. Rehearsals will primarily take place in Capelle aan den IJssel and Rotterdam. We are looking to fill two distinct roles: a professional contemporary dancer for a paid position and a dedicated intern. Compensation for the paid role will align with the Dutch Collective Labour Agreement for Theatre and Dance. Ideal candidates are energetic, sociable, and communicative individuals who actively contribute to a positive atmosphere, demonstrate initiative, and understand the importance of collaborative space. We seek dancers with a distinctive, powerful, and grounded movement language, coupled with a keen curiosity for exploring the interplay of dance, text, voice, and live music. The ability to speak Dutch is essential. Applicants must be available on Tuesdays and Fridays from January through June 2027. Please note that rehearsals will not occur on both days every week; a detailed schedule will be provided closer to the audition date.
