We are looking for a Company Stage Manager for our open-air, UK Summer tour of 'Macbeth'.

Now in its fifth year, The Duke's Theatre Company continues to grow. The 2025 Summer tour takes in 58 open air theatre venues including some of nation's most prestigious destinations, (The Minack, Fairlight Hall, Thorington Theatre, Bowood House and Garden) as well as a stop at Wilton's Music Hall.

Overall dates 2nd May - 14th Sep (**Possible extension to end of October, indoor split week tour, DSM to be introduced)
Competitive weekly salary
5 x day working week, 2 days off

Job Requirements
The CSM is the pivotal link between the office and the touring company and is responsible for all day to day workings. TDTC Summer tours are a unique fit when it comes to the CSM - the role is a combination of CM, DSM in rehearsal, driver, set build director, pastoral manager, FOH manager and all round leader. We select the acting company members and CSM with great care, and work with people who have the personality type to lead with kindness and excellence. Our ambition is for the touring team (6 x actors, 1 x CSM) to produce an unfalteringly professional experience.

This role is supported remotely by the production manager, producer and associate producer.

Job Responsibilities
You should have:

Excellent organisational skills (route planning, work delegation, etc)
Excellent leadership skills (call times, decision making at venues, etc)
Excellent reporting skills (working hours and overtime, mileage, etc)
A drivers licence and confidence in driving a low loading luton van
A good knowledge of Qlab
Confidence with minor set repairs, sound/LX maintenance and operation
Confidence in handling the public and venue custodians
A responsible manner and experience in pastoral matters
You could have (but don't need to have)

A first aid qualification
Your own tool belt!
