Description:Who we’re looking for…RWS Entertainment Group is currently seeking a touring Company Manager for an upcoming non-union national tour of XANADU. About the role… Non-union Company Manager for the national tour of XANADU, with engagements across North America. Contract consists of approximately 20+ weeks of work beginning with NYC rehearsals in August 2019 and touring through March 2020. Previous company management and touring experience is required. What’s expected… Track and process all company purchases, budgets, and related paperwork (ie: workers’ compensation, payroll, expense reimbursements, venue/presenter settlements, AP/AR). Secure housing accommodations – including hotel and apartments – for all company members on tour. Coordinate all travel arrangements of cast and crew. Serve as lead point of contact between hotels, management, and company members. Day-to-day department business needs which will include, but are not limited to: scheduling, budgeting, and other duties as required. Oversee all artist contracts regarding filings and payroll. Maintain contract files and shares contract information with other departments, as needed. Coordinate transportation for grocery runs, laundromat visits, and other essential functions. Ships boxes for actors, designers, directors as needed during the tour. Be the first and primary contact for any company member medical needs, especially in case of emergency. Provide support for special events and company projects. Prepare City Sheets. Work with the management team consisting of the Production Stage Manager, Music Director, and Head Technician as the senior manager on tour. Other duties as assigned. What you bring… Minimum of 2 years company management and/or touring experience Exceptional interpersonal written and oral communication, organization, and budgeting skills Collaborative and consistent work ethic with the ability to maintain and exude a pleasant, calm demeanor under intense schedules and workloads Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely with assistance Knowledge of and respect for adhering to industry and OSHA standard safety practices Valid driver’s license with clean driving record At least 21 years of age Experience booking travel and housing for large groups of people The deal...
