Description:Ever thought of joining a burlesque troop?In our burlesque show, first, you start off with picking the music, and scanning the girls together, and then choreographing the dance, and the routine to the show. After hours, and days, of rehearsal, you then pick a location of where you’re gonna have the show. After you pick the location, you set up a date for when you’re gonna have the show. After you set up the date, the location, the dance is done, and the girls are ready, you have to think about your costume. Yada yada yada But we have a location and a show date so we now need the talent Our Cirque and Twerk burlesque show includes Pole, Lyre, Chair Dancing, and loads of twerking But, during the show, is when everything just comes to life, and all the hard work that you put in, you’re there in that moment, when the lights hit you. It’s a lot of work that comes into developing a burlesque show, whether it’s rehearsal, picking the costumes, the choreography, picking the right location, promoting it, but when that night comes it’s all worth it. We are a volunteer-driven community performance Troupe that aligns with non-profit organizations to assist them in their fund-raising events. We are based in Springfield Ma and soon relocating to Hartford, CT. We perform our fun “Sneak-a-Peek-a-Boo” short program as well as our full-length 90 min show: guaranteed to be “The Cleanest Dirty Fun You Will Ever Have”. Our primary alignment is with My Sisters Place, A center for misplaced families of domestic violence but we are very supportive of all non-profits who ask us to perform for their events. We are currently interested in inviting interested performers to join our Troupe! Experience is not necessary – however a passion to perform and a dedication to rehearse is vital. If you are not sure what you would like to do, but you simply want to be a part of a performance troupe, please come absorb some healthy, fun, sassy energy and see if we are the troupe for you! Our invitation is for dancers, singers, musicians, comics, unique performance artists [hoops, baton, juggling, etc.] and backstage support. We are also happy to offer established performers an opportunity to perform with us in our “Guest Burlesque” series – giving you a venue without needing to commit to our Troupe.
