We are seeking multi-talented cirque duos to join Season Three of The Color Collective, premiering in February 2021.
Artists must possess exceptional skills in aerial (silks and Lyra) and acrobatic adagio.
The Color Collective comprises of a company of 17 team members onboard Color Magic.
REQUIREMENTS
Trained performers who are able to demonstrate a high level of execution and that have a strong stage presence both as a couple and as solo artists.
Professional circus arts training.
Professional onstage experience.
Great quality of movement.
Excellent physical fitness and stamina.
Artistic mastery and precision of execution.
The ability to work as part of an international team.
Advanced English.
Age 21+
Schengen Allowance (biometric passport) and/or European Residency.
FEMALE: specialist in aerial, with great flexibility and quality of movement. Contortion is an advantage.
MALE: specialist in aerial; strong physique for partner work and hand to hand.
CONTRACT DATES
Rehearsals and costume fittings will take place in Kyiv in November/December 2020.
Install (Oslo, Norway): 26th January 2021
Performances: 9th February – 10th April 2021
Refresh Rehearsal: August 2021
Performances: 17th August – 15th October 2021
Subsequent cast dates to be announced.
PERFORMANCES
Performances take place every day. The duo will feature in specific scenes within the mainstage shows, as well as perform independent performances and scheduled ‘pop up’ style entertainment around the ship.
Each couple will have the opportunity to showcase their unique skills.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Onboard daily performance fees are paid at monthly intervals. All rehearsals and costume fittings take place in Kyiv; accommodation is not provided during rehearsals.
Flights are provided to embark the ship and to return to Kyiv at the end of each onboard assignment.
Cast members benefit from ‘guest entertainer’ status with no crew duties or IPM. Each company member has their own cabin with its own bathroom. All meals are provided onboard.
Subject to schedule, when in port you can debark the ship.
The cast have access to:
Guest areas including the gym and spa.
Crew Welfare Package: WiFi, crew lounge, crew gym, movie and gaming room, sun deck and shoreside bicycles.
The consumption of alcohol is not permitted at anytime during each onboard assignment – whether onboard or off of the ship.
Subject to global circumstances at the time of travel, mandatory quarantine periods prior to each assignment may be required by the Norwegian government.
