Be a part of the unforgettable 15th edition of our festival, taking place in Basel from 2 - 6 May, 2024! Competition, job fair, workshops & networking! The festival is both a competition and a job fair for young professional artists in the field of contemporary circus. During six public shows an international jury of experts will evaluate the young artists. At the gala performance, numerous prizes and engagements will be awarded. Every year international show producers, agents and bookers travel to Basel to discover new talents at YOUNG STAGE. Apply now and show the world what you're made of! HOW TO TAKE PART: CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION Applications are accepted from artists who are not older than 27 years in May 2024. For groups, the average age counts. Artists that have already applied for one of the previous years can apply again. Please send us a new registration form! Thank you! Important! Only applications sent via our official registration form can be accepted. Dates of the Festival 2024: Arrivals: 26 April 2024 Rehearsals: 27 April – 1 May 2024 Shows: 2 – 6 May 2024 Departure: 7 May 2024 Hotel and meals are free during the stay in Basel and travel expenses will be reimbursed. All applicants will be informed about a possible participation around mid-February. Technical information about the application: The stage has a dimension of 12 x 8 meters. It is covered with a dance floor. It is generally possible to rigg chinese poles or other props. We have a motor winch for aerial acts.
