L'Art d'en Faire is a circus arts school founded in 2008 based on the principles and values ​​of popular education,
welcoming all audiences in southern Ardèche. Some of its activities are part of a social circus approach and are carried out
in partnership with local authorities and stakeholders in education, social work, and medical-social services.
Job Description
As part of its circus school, the association is recruiting a person for the permanent team to supervise
educational workshops, participate in the operation of the structure and coordinate projects related to the disability sector.
Missions
Under the responsibility of the director and/or the educational coordinator, the employee will work within the
educational team and will have the following main missions:
- Supervision of circus workshops for all audiences, in the Joyeuse space (hall) or as part of off-site interventions
in southern Ardèche,
- Coordination of the "disability" component of the association: inclusion system in regular workshops and courses, and
regular workshops with medical-educational structures in the region (participation of the association in the
PARI university research project, related to disability).
- Logistics in conjunction with the technical manager: preparation and installation of the equipment necessary for interventions.
- Participation in the organization of events and certain tasks related to the operation of the association.
Description of the profile sought
At least 3 years of experience, accompanied by training validated by a diploma, in the field of
special education (specialist educator or other) is strongly desired.
At least 2 years of experience in a circus activity management position is also strongly desired.
This experience must be validated by a circus arts supervisor diploma, or at least by a diploma attesting to
skills in the socio-educational field.
We prioritize skills and abilities related to the supervision of audiences: animation technique, supervision of
specific audiences (disabilities, young people in difficulty), taking into account the specificities of audiences and contexts,
dynamism, ability to work in a team, rigor and organization.
Artistic sensitivity.
