Description:
Casting for C(ovell) in the C(loud) a live stream adaptation of my play interactive play C(ovell). Mostly scripted some improv required. Characters are Doc: a sleezy bisexual magician with a drinking problem. And Happy a tapdancing clown who is always happy. Characters have no specific background. Open to adjusting characters for your acting/performing style so it feels more you. Priority given to minority, female disabled, or gender non-conforming actors, although the characters have no identifying features outside personality and talents.
Submit via email to [email protected]. Would like a resume and/or personal statement along with a video of you performing a trick if you're submitting for Doc or a tapdance and/or clown routine if you're submitting for Happy.**
Show is July 11th.
The show will require probably 1-2 small group rehearsals for breakout rooms, 1 tech rehearsal, and 2 full-cast rehearsals/run-throughs.
A minimum of $5 from each ticket sold will be donated to a charity that will be voted on in the show!
I will be paying everyone based on ticket sales with a guaranteed minimum of $25 to come out of my pocket even if we don't sell any tickets just for trying to make this happen. In the past though when we've done the show its usually a sell our performances and people usually make a hundred or so from tickets per show.
