The National Centre for Circus Arts is seeking a circus arts teacher to join the Participation and Outreach team. Our programmes provide opportunities for children from 2 years old up to adulthood and we have both recreational and progressive training schemes.

We are looking for circus teachers who are experienced in teaching one or more of the following disciplines: Handstands, Tumbling, Acrobalance, Hand to Hand (Adagio). You must be able to teach at an intermediate to advanced level.

This is a hands-on job, which includes working directly with students while maintaining administration including lesson plans, recording progress and attending regular programme meetings as required. Successful candidates will have a passion for their discipline and a commitment to circus training for all. They will be strong communicators who enjoy working collaboratively and have a clear willingness to share information.

Pay: £24.59 per hour
Contract: Zero hour - subject to a termly schedule
Days: Monday - Sunday
Holiday Entitlement: 30 days paid holiday per year on a pro rata basis. This is inclusive of the eight statutory bank holidays. Holiday is expected to be taken outside of the academic term
