An accredited circus arts institution, officially recognized by the FFEC, is seeking a dedicated Circus Arts Facilitator. This organization is committed to fostering social inclusion through performing arts, offering introductory, foundational, and advanced circus training to diverse participants. Its core philosophy emphasizes creating a welcoming space for everyone, providing tailored learning environments, and championing the advancement and appreciation of circus arts. Primary responsibilities include designing and delivering engaging, multidisciplinary circus workshops for diverse age groups, such as children, teenagers, adults, and specialized communities. Content must be tailored to varying skill levels and educational objectives. The role requires ongoing pedagogical assessment and tracking of student development, alongside organizing and overseeing holiday programs. The successful candidate will also assist with conceptualizing performances and actively participate in institutional and collaborative events. Additional duties involve ensuring the secure setup, operation, and upkeep of all equipment, contributing to the school's operational vitality by attending team meetings, preparing activity summaries, and performing technical duties related to performances. Prospective applicants must hold either a BPJEPS 'activités du cirque' or a BIAC/TIAC qualification, combined with proven experience in managing year-round circus arts programs. Candidates should demonstrate robust foundational technical abilities across all circus disciplines, with expertise in acrobatics and/or aerial arts being highly advantageous. A strong understanding of various demographic groups, proficiency in facilitation and group management methodologies, and the capacity to develop written lesson plans are crucial. The role also demands self-reliance, excellent organizational capabilities, a collaborative spirit, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
