Onstage - Kids 'N Dance 'N Theater Arts is a well known women owned and operated Performing Arts Center. Circus / Aerial Arts classes are in high demand and we are looking for teachers that have the following qualifications to youth classes:
Intermediate/advanced skill on silk
Basic gymnastics skills to enhance aerial skills
Intermediate skills on lyra/static trapeze (desirable)
Ability and willingness to teach young beginners ages 4-13.
Creative and playful methods to convey concepts and enhance skills
Group classroom management skills. (Most classes have 8-10 students)
This position can be for those looking to teach weekly classes, sub classes or a motivated individual that would like to build a comprehensive aerial program with the potential of starting a youth troupe that could feed into our existing advanced youth troupe.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
COVID-19 considerations:
Employees must be vaccinated and boostered. Students 12 + required to be vaccinated. Masks required, students only allowed in the facility. Medical grade air filters on site.
Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
silk and teaching youth: 1 year (Preferred)
