An esteemed entertainment production company, in collaboration with a prominent leisure provider, is seeking exceptional circus artists for its highly anticipated 2026 UK touring production, 'The Mad Hatter’s Circus.' We are casting for two iconic characters: The Cheshire Cat and The White Rabbit. Applications are welcomed from both solo performers and duos who possess a high level of skill in various circus disciplines. Ideal candidates will demonstrate proficiency in areas such as hula hoop, contortion, acrobatics, hand balancing, Cyr wheel, chair balancing, skateboarding, juggling, or poi. We are also keen to discover performers with unique and captivating specialty acts. Beyond their primary discipline, successful applicants will be expected to showcase additional talents in movement and partner work throughout the show. The roles encompass a dynamic range of performances, including solo circus acts, participation in vibrant ensemble numbers, general ensemble circus work, and potential partner work involving dance, lifts, and intricate circus maneuvers. The production schedule is as follows: Rehearsals are slated from Friday, July 3rd, to Thursday, July 16th, 2026. The tour will then commence on Friday, July 17th, and conclude on Friday, August 28th, 2026. This exciting tour will visit five distinct regions across the UK: Scotland, Yorkshire, Wales, the South West, and the South East. Performers will benefit from included accommodation and provided travel throughout the tour. A highly competitive salary is offered for these positions.
